ADSL Max low contention Broadband

This broadband is for areas where we cannot get our very high speed broadband package. This uses BT's standard circuits but uses a lower contention ratio to make sure that you get the very best line available through the BT exchange.

The upload speed of this broadband connection can reach as high as 832k, with a download speed of up to 8 meg. This amount of upload will allow you around 8 'virtual lines'.
Speeds will vary depending on things like distance from the exchange and cable quality.

To work out how many 'virtual' lines you will be able to use on your broadband, please use our broadband speed check service. Otherwise if you test your broadband speed, take your upspeed and divide it by 90 then this should give you a pretty accurate view of the availability of lines.
